ACES Campus Store continues to make an effort to limit the impact of high textbook prices, we provide the following options to students with respect to textbooks:

USED Book Program

Used textbooks continue to be the most effective way for students to save money in the long run. Used textbooks are 25% less than New textbooks and may have buyback value at the end of the term. The amount of the buyback value depends on whether the book is a current edition and whether it will be used on this campus for the next term.

Digital Media Distribution

Also known as “e-books” is another option offered on a select number of titles (approximately 15% of the textbooks we offer are available digitally. Digital versions are basic PDF files that the student can download after they purchase an access code. Digital versions typically are about 40% less than New textbooks (% varies from title to title), but the digital version will NOT have buyback value.

Textbook Rental Program (NEW for FALL 2010)

The Textbook Rental Program is available on a select number of titles. The textbook rental fee is 50% of the price of a New textbook, since the rented textbook must be returned to the store, there is no buyback value. Students who rent textbooks must sign a textbook rental agreement.

If you are getting your books at the bookstore, just bring in your schedule and we pick your books for you. Our staff will let you know what your options are when they pull your textbooks.
